Yeah, haven't you heard? You're meant to slide all the way to work, using other parked cars to soften the collisions.

The people should have at least stayed in the car and try to control it. Apparently the car ended up sliding into a bush and a car on a driveway. Unless the car was going to plow into a river, I would've stayed in it, but who knows what was around the corner from just watching the video.
