(West/South West) Police today said that the man held over the Exeter restaurant blast was a recent convert to Islam.

Officers raided premises in Plymouth following the arrest of the 22-year-old suspect at Princesshay's Giraffe restaurant.

One explosive device went off, a second was found by police and rendered safe. (West/South West)
